I recently got an X3 jacket, and one of the biggest concerns for me is the band collar 'warping', and I was hoping to ask the experts what is the best way to prevent this?
To further explain, I've had suede and leather jackets with band collars in the past, but after some time, they seem to lose that circular curl, and instead, develop (permanent) twists and turns into almost an 'S' shape. However, I'd hate for the same to happen to this jacket.
I'm using a wide-shoulder hanger at the moment, but should I zip up the jacket and button the band collar when I hang the jacket? Should I leave it unzipped? Unbuttoned? Unzipped and buttoned? Zipped and unbuttoned? Any help would be most appreciated, thanks!
