Pressure Pot Compressor

I've been looking into getting a pressure pot for resin casting. Was wondering if my airbrush compressor would be powerful enough to use. The compressor has a max psi around 57, but I'm not sure if that translates to pressurizing an external pot. Do I need to get a second compressor?

It probably won't be strong enough, but it wouldn't hurt to try.

Yeah, I doubt that compressor would have enough volume to do the job adequately.

I use a Porter Cable 3 gallon (I think) pancake air compressor. It is adequate for the small pressure pot that I have.

You need consistent cfm. If it can run and hold a 1/2" Impact your good. Use that as your base spec.

Thanks guys. Sounds like I should just do things right and get a dedicated compressor
