Predestination movie Time Traveller's Wrist Watch (all hints and clues welcome)

Like the title says...
I'm looking for clues to putting together that rather graceful timepiece of wrist jewel Ethan Hawke is wearing throughout the Predestination movie.
Let's say a "qualified guess" is that this is not an of-the-shelf commercial product, so all hints and clues to what is used to assemble this masterpiece are most welcome!

Eezee!

looking at your screen caps it does look like a made to movie piece, there are hints that it was not a production piece especially in foto #4.

it just looks like they cut out the face and placed date cards on it below the hands, casio, timex, anything actually could have been used .........................

Interesting design from a technical perspective, a departure from the usual shiny chrome and blue blinking lighted gadgetry of time travel. A low-key device like this (that wouldn't look too abnormal either in the past or the future) makes sense.

I'm quite sure of your analysis being correct in this case, vidman. It's along the lines of what I'm thinking too.
Still leaves the mysteries of what they used to start off with untouched though. What I'm trying to do is to chase all parts down and assembly. Worst case I'll have to make most of the parts myself, with an exception of machining or casting the actual watch chassi, cause that's something I don't have enough experience in. Maybe outsourcing it. We'll see where the research takes me...

That is exactly why I found it so beautiful, Grey. The contextual appearance. I mean if you'd take it out of the actual realm, it most probably wouldn't catch too many eyes. But that is also why I find it so elegant. It's not a brag piece, or huge or shiny. It's just there. Simple, almost mundane.

I just finished watching this movie and wanted to *maybe* provide a clue? Seems the face shape, leather band, as well as the time tick marks are very reminiscent of something the Brand Nixon would have [at least as a starting point] They used to have a line of watches called "Agent Leather" that combined a squarish face with a thick leather arm band similar to the images you screen-capped. From my very quick research, this current watch of theirs has a similar structure... At least something to explore more perhaps? All in all, this brand makes some amazing watches..I have been giving them as gifts to friends/family for years always to the delight of watch enthusiasts. Happy hunting!
