Predators totem, custom falcon and repaints.

so, right now i'm thinking of a better/less timetaking/faster method of making the glyphs on the totem construction. Any ideas and help appreciated. for now, a little teaser of my second, smaller totem fitting my detolf cabinet:

well IMO, a better/less timetaking/faster method for reproducing this would be making a mold of it and just casting some...

of course for this smaller one, you would still have to make the original first, i was gonna say it looked like neca used fabric paint or "puffy" paint on their display, but however you did yours looks better than theirs by far anyway, so nevermind.

how did you make the glyphs on the first one? or did i miss that explanation?

i think i wrote that in the first post...

anyway, i used vicol glue (don't know if you know what glue is that - it's mainly for wood and paper/cardboard, it's a thick, white glue which turns transparent after it dries) and made the glyphs with a syringe (without a needle obviously).

thing is, it's a very effective way to get detailed glyphs, but it takes a LOT of time, and my hand hurts like hell after a few hours of carefully pumping the glue while trying to draw some shape.

mold you say. that would probably fit, and the size of the pole is not a problem, because actually the new one is a bit more accurate to 8" figures scale. What material would you recommend for a mold? silicone maybe?

Dude that totem is awesome! Maybe you could use hot glue to make the glyphs....
Im sure if u made a mold you'd get a few customers looking for 1, me included

thanks alot.

i'm thinking of making more of these, not much free time right now, though.
