PREDATORS - MOVIE INFO

AWESOME! I can't stand Topher. A fitting demise... to the prince of powder. Er, I mean annoyance.

Would've spoilered that sentence, but it gets really pointless since there are spoilers in plenty of other threads here, too. We're pretty far along; TWO MORE DAYS!

...and seeing this at 6 is no problem, I saw Predator for the first time when I was kindergarten.

I'm going to keep off the lair for a couple of days now,I'm too close to the film to get spoiled now LOL,

I will say this once, DO NOT POST ANYMORE SPOILERS HERE. if you want to start a thred for a actual review, fine go ahead, people who have not seen the film can chose not to read the review thred.
but this thred although it contains spoilers in regards to a alleged script and photos, is not for that.

taking a 6yr old does not sit right with me, let kids be kids, i would not have exposed my kids to that amount of violence and bad language at that age.

Same here with me. I try to stay off the lair or this particular this at least until I’ve seen the movie, which isn’t long off, I’m going to see it tonight at 12:01am! It’s just a matter of hours!!!!

No problem, I wouldn't do that anyway, I mean I might not be a fan of the flick, but I wouldn't be a dick head to my friends on here.

Besides...there will be plenty of time to rant 'AFTER' people have seen the movie.

Right you are, I don't let my nephew whatch it and he's 10. All he knows is what I tell him, a few comic pages and my collection of figures.

As long as she's with me she's fine. Actually she loves Predator movies. We always sit and watch P1, P2, AVP, and AVPR. She first got hooked on these types on movies when she was about 3-4 when we watched Spielberg's War of the Worlds.

Awsome, rather than her being affraid, i actually meant getting her into the actual cinema what with the age limits and all, i guess they are more relaxed about it over there, i had to wait until i had some bum fluff around my top lip and had mastered my Christopher Lee voice before i could get in underage those were the days. I remember watching Alien as a young child, set me up for life and i seem to be ok apart from the voices so i dont see a problem myself aslong as she enjoys herself
 
Hey each to his or her own, and i am not commenting on anyones parenting etc, i personally just could not have seen me taking my daughter to somthing like this when she was 6. ( she probably swears more than me now shes a adult , so censorship certainly did not stop her using language hehe )
kids do learn alot younger nowadays it seems, and we all do things different.
 
deffinately gonna go c it tmorrow, has anyone seen any good cinema cut outs yet? cardboard standees? thought there might be a predator one somewhere, my local just has a standee of the royce poster with mr black behind him ....
 
Munson, I really think you should know youself, but I think the film might have a bigger impact on kids than you might think by comparing it to the other films... I suppose you don't watch Dexter with her too? I'm all for low ages going to see intense **** (films, games, whatever) with guidance, so as long as you keep explaining stuff with her, you should be fine.

Over here in Holland, cinema's might get into trouble for letting youngsters in such a film.
