insect juice? high in protein, seams as though noland does most his living sitting in that cave, but nonetheless, i think those arms look like retired Vietnam vets arms, big, but not so shapely.
i'm really lovin' this! i've tried to limit my view on this thread since the clips came out. i sat for two days before i even watched clip 3, which all can say is if the music was in que with the video, that would've even been that much cooler, i'm beginning to love all the differences, yet we're still in a "predator" movie. was it that way for everyone? sound just a second in front of the vid?

anyway, i hope they can refrain even more exposure for the next few days, it's next friday bitches!!!!! a week from today!!! something still tells me that even though we've maybe seen what 12-15 minutes total if that much of the movie, the other 100 are gonna be even cooler! the clips show the vibe really well, and they were more the semi-almost-comedic aspects like of the first two movies. there's lots of creepy darkness, blood, and fear still to experience. we got a lot to still see and take in... and i'm excited :)

(i now have read all 4 of the "prequel" comics and it's been a really interesting and cool journey so far, and how it ends is just AWESOME! been a great experience overall, for those who hesitated to read them for any reason. the week by week thing was really cool too:)
 
Holy mongolian mongoose Batman! ONE MORE WEEK!!!!! OMG!!! I didn't get this giddy about AVP or AVPR. This movie adds more to our want list of Bios, armor, skins and everything PREDATORS....can't bloody wait.

I tried getting ahold of my theater to see if they have a pre-screening show but the girl had no idea what the movie even was lol! Maybe I'll try on Monday and ask for the manager. :)
 
i think i might have to get a bit pushy if they do have a "pre-screening" or whatever, and they fail to not let me know about it :) this is gonna be SOOOOOO awesome!!

ye of little faith... please, let it in, if you still don't like it, fine, but overall i don't think you could possibly "regret" it :D i'd say theres a much better chance of someone regretting NOT seeing it on the big screen. IYAM.
 
I'm not buying into the temptation anymore. Haven't seen any more exclusives since RR took us into his studio. That video is on the site. I can't anymore. Just patiently awaiting the debut of the fim now. Not going to spoil it anymore than I already have for myself.
 
tickets booked, 9pm Odeon in Kettering. goin with 6 mates, all claim they are pred fans but i am the only one with a suit! still debating whether to go dressed up yet, some of my mates have said if i do then they will dress as characters from P1.

Before I am verbally attacked, I have waited many years since I first saw Predator when I was about 7, so we are talking almost twenty years of waiting for a "proper" new predator film that I could enjoy at the cinema. THe clips look awesome although I am trying to avoid watching them (other than the main trailer and Nolan decloaking, SWEET!). Plus seeing an 18 rated film didn't mess me up, apart from the healthy obsession of the Lair! So..........

having just gone to book tickets at Cineworld I'm a little disappointed with the BBFC 15 certificate/rating. Don't get me wrong the lower limit opens Predator to a wider audience but with P1 and P2 being 18's I was hoping for a balls out movie unlike the disappointing other 2.

Where as an "18" is

So perhaps they will do an "18" un-cut dvd release? Thoughts anyone?

And just to get the ball rolling and illicit a bit more thought in potential responses....

"Wider Auidence therefore more money for the Studio"
"Flogging the franchise for everything it's worth"
"Selling out"

Have already been mentioned, let's avoid them.
 
Starting a post with " before i am verbally attacked" is not the best idea :)

It is Probably a 15 because todays audience has been so desensitized to violence and gore. i am happy with a 15 cert if its a good film, making it a 18 does not guarantee anything, and i would much rather have a decent story, than gore for the sake of it. ( even though gore and predators go hand in hand )

The 1st review of the film we saw a few pages back said it was pretty gorey, so i am actually not botherd at all.
 
Just to echo what was said above, i would imagine this is down to higher tollerances in that regard these days, i think were predator released today it would quite possibly pass as a 15, At least this one isn't going down the AVP route :) we'l find out soon enough anyway......
 
There's a new pic of just the Falconer on the actual figure thread. These new pics look LOADS better than the packaged photos we saw a week ago.
 
i absolutely love the score! motion picture scores are what i listen to almost exclusively so it's safe to assume that this one will become a part of my collection. :)

i totally agree with T-800's post.
