lets face it ..any pred is good pred ..even when the movies itself lacked ..they at least featured our favorite monster. there were elements of every film that i liked. AVPR even had its moments .the design was fantastic ..i just wish it wasnt so dark. The artists did some fantastic sculptures and paint jobs. As for the effects team for the new one ..I really wonder? SWS is Legacy now ..they are kinda the giant robot and suit guys and not a lot of traditional sculpting goes on there. Id love to see Spectral Motion or Iron Head FX get a crack at the designs.

Just not too far off the range for what a predator "is" and "looks". I liked the armor and bio designs in Predators, but the Berzerkers [whatever they're called] really went out of the spectrum to me. It wasn't "believable" for me. At least in the other films, it looks like the bio could actually fit the full sized hero mask. In Predators, there is no way the bios they used would fit a full sized Berzerker head. Would be nice to get back to having only one pred in a film too.

I'm gonna have to agree munson. A lone Predator seems to be more believable than pack (?pride, gaggle, herd, murder?) hunting together. It's also nice to know that I'm not the only person who thinks the berserker was out of place. My hope is that they play off of where P2 left off. If they put any thought into it at all, they could make quite a few new movies based off of the lost hunters we saw at the end. For me, the 2 things that could ruin the movie entirely would be too much use of cgi, and any, ANY reference to the crappy comics, games, or novels that came afterward.

And then i see lasers and an alien gets sliced........that was cool
And i had to see the movie 3 times to notice the wolf burn in the face
But its hard to beat the predator 1and 2

I'll just be happy to see another Predator. Each and every film is great in its own way.

The only thing i would critic about predators is that they called them super predators, but they didnt had anything about super
I mean p1 from predators was kicking his ass, who knows how long was he hanging there without eating or taking his sup,ements and yet he almost had him
I would like to see a female pred, or an elder kicking ass, because they are the elite, they have gone thru epic huntings and battles to get to be an elder

I'd really love to have a peek at "Yautja Prime" (including Elders, Females, and possibly their Young) and then have the movie shift to the epic hunt of 1 Predator (THAT SURVIVES!!!)
I'd also be interested in seeing some of the other aliens to whom some of the skulls on City hunters trophy wall belonged too.

I read through some of these responses. I feel the only way they could pull of a reboot is to still give it the same time line, same location, and use the original p1
