PREDATOR/PREDATOR 2 Action Figures from NECA

Looking at this makes me think...It could have been worse...Jazwares could be making these....I mean guys really have you seen the new Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat figures?Neca still has the better paint apps and %100 better sculpt lol Just sayin.
 
Neca's paints aren't ever going to be amazing. They're sort of middle ground. Could they be better? Sure, but you just have to realize that you're buying something meant for the shelf at toysrus and not a hundred dollar hot toy.

sure, that's all true. still, i can't look at them before repainting, but don't want to have to repaint every single one though one.

I'm not going to lie -- that looks pretty freaking good. The body paint apps, the armor, THE NETTING... if the other Losties turn out like this, I'd be more than happy to buy them all.

i'm not going to lie, i can't wait to add these to my collection! i really don't think the paint apps on either of the last two are all that bad, (boar does look pretty damn spiffy from here) but at any rate i'm still crappin myself that this is actually happening!!! hopefully the factory apps on p2 are descent too.

10, even 5 years ago, who woulda thought we'd have our own little lost tribe at an affordable price! sure i'll probably end up painting most of em, but i'm cool with that, at least there is a notable difference in their painting efforts :) for a while i truly thought i was gonna be stuck w/ mcfarlanes attempts forever, thank god, i can damn near toss those babies now ( but i'll probably just pass them to my 4 year old)
 
So when can we start expecting these to show up at Toys R us ?

Can someone ask Randy when they plan on sending the replacement series 3 figures out ?

I asked NECA's facebook page when they plan on sending out the replacement broken predators from series 3. They responded with "we have them in stock and will be shipping them out this upcoming week."

So, hopefully they stick to it.

But when should we expect the new ones to start showing up ?

I am expecting a piece of leg armor and a replacement pack...hopefully. I don't see how they can replace the plasma without the pack because they are pretty much one piece.
 
A buddy of mine used to get replacement figures when they sold the hellraiser figures. He was missing an extra head or something, and instead they sent him the whole figure. They might do that in the case of your pack.

Just read back a few posts and you see where everyone was describing what occurred to the figures. Even myself. It was simply broken leg and arm joints etc.
