It does ring a little true though. Kenner figures don't sell for feces these days and they have been out a while.

The AVP Preds were just too... "bulky" and didn't move like the City hunter or Anytime. Hell, they didn't move like a PREDATOR should.
This conversation has been disputed time and time again so I won't go into it but it would be cool to see NECA put their spin on them. I would especially like to see the Preds on top of the Pyramids created too.

Oh yea that too there are so many possibilities they can do with the predators Aliens too for that matter
sadly though I think their done with Aliens ive asked em time after time with no response as for the Queen goes they "say" that shes to expensive to make when they have released 18 inch big chap alien,THREE versions of the same 18 inch Predator with another on the way and so many 7 inch Preds with head swap variants so yea i think their full of crap.And this sucks for me because i dont have the Mcfarlane Queen and i guess i never will because i cant afford $150 for her.

They've said several times on their twitter that AVP is at the veeeeeery bottom of the list and even then they said they may not do em. I think part of the reason neca won't be doing much more Alien wise either is that the Predator line has become such a big seller. The stuffs flying off the shelves anywhere I've seen it and I honestly don't think Aliens ever did that well.
I have to agree with neca on the Queen though. To do her in scale with the Preds she'd likely have to be twenty-four inches from nose to tail. That's a whole hell of a lot of sculpting, design, and plastic for something that may or may not sell that well. Too risky. Not to mention a hefty price tag for collectors.
I'd suggest saving up for the mcfarlane Queen but she's not to scale with either neca's Alien or Predator line. Hell, she wasn't even to scale with mcfarlanes Predators back in the day.

I know but they could make 1/4th scale or alittle less right?(edit) plus the Queen would sure as hell be a HOT seller if they do it right(eggs) I would get her in a heartbeat.As for past Alien sales.I think the reason why is the production problems.Like Predators series 3 has.

She's what, fifteen/twenty foot tall? A 1/4th scale Queen would be four or five foot tall. lol Not going to happen. The point is they just can't do it at a proper scale and make it financially possible for the average collectors to pick it up. They're focused on predator and that's a good thing.

I'd buy one too. I'd buy all three. McF didn't make a 'chopper' so they could throw us one of them.
