like i said before if they were just taken out of the box they are stiff as hell because some of the paint gets in the joints and locks the joint so run them over hot water for about 1 minute for each joint.Yea it may take a few but it will be easier than pulling the joint hope this works guys

oh and you may have to take your finger nail or a needle and put it in the joint ot break the exess paint if it still doesnt move,but be sure the plastic is still rubbery from the heat when you do it because when it gets dry it makes it a teeny bit harder

Has anyone added the dangling ribbons/straps to the classic predators arms and legs ? I was thinking of doing it, but don't know what to use. That and adding the straps to the guantlets on the elder predator.

I used a brown satin-ish ribbon and cut it to the width and length I desired
and used super glue for the P1's wraps. And I used that and hemp cord to wrap
the elders guants. Just head down to a craft supply and pick out what
ever looks good to you.

Just got my SDCC Gort Pred and the right arm snapped off at the elbow joint when I took him out of the package. Randy at NECA said on their Twitter account that they have had a production problem with series 3 and apparently Gort and they would be replacing them all for customers. I've emailed NECA customer service, but so far have only had a computer generated response.

well this is good news, for me and i'm sure many others! and i will be actively pursuing this, seeing as how both series three figs that i opened had limbs snap right off within SECONDS of being open!

i was thinking, due to a few other peoples responses on here that there certainly must have been some kind of production problem (plastic elbow joints that perhaps didn't cure right in their individual little molds, bad batch of plastic?, etc.)

i bought all of series one and two, and while i did have a few joints "stick" due to paint or whatever, no amount of force that i applied ever broke a single one! so ya this shouldn't happen!! cause i did have to apply a little force before, these literally snapped upon touching them it seamed...

and i could be crazy but my elders wrist blades seamed really brittle too, didn't test their strength or nothing but, you could just tell, had a different "sound". NECA YOU WILL FIX THIS!! DAMMIT!!

^ So what your saying is basicly that after i pay nearly thirty bucks for these guys theyre gonna go mcfarland pred on me and snap for no apperant reason,And then i contact NECA for a response which i probably wont get because they never respond to anyone.Grrr my week just gets better and better

I've heard generally good reviews about NECA replacing figures.

I also contacted them last friday via email, and got the same computer generated message. Before that, when Series 2 came out, my Berzerker predator unmasked had a left knee joint snap on me. I actually called their customer service number and i had a replacement within a week, but, it appears as tho they took the number down off the site.

so this is promising, they are aware of a serious problem and are goin to fix it, i imagine a little patience will have to come with this process

i'm just wondering what to do about the figs i haven't opened and haven't planned on opening from series 3, let my son open them if he chooses when he's old enough to find the same problem? or take care of it now?

I wonder if they would replace my Elders broken caster. I didn't even touch it before I noticed it was broken. They would just have to replace the pack.

I got the same email, they asked me for my address. Only thing Is, I had already super glued my Elder's arm back on, and I explained that in the email, so I dont know if that will keep me from getting a replacement or not. I hope I can still get one.

I thought someone mentioned that the lost hunters were coming with a couple trophy skulls. Has there been any mention of this recently? It'd be really nice if they carried that through the rest of the line instead of just the two pack.

I coulda swore someone mentioned the skull thing, but i would go as far as remembering someone mentioning a boxed Lost Predators set... or a diarama of the interior of the ship ? I dont know...even if they did that, we'd need a Mike Harrigan to put in the center... and a dead P2...

I also remembering seeing the Elder prototype standing over a Super Predator skull, I think it was in this very thread... and a mention of another 2 pack for Toys R Us this year... so. Might be a Elder with the super skull and something else...
