looks good, hopefully the factory can keep up with the simplified paintjob... a little grey ... i'm sure i'll still end up repainting it

Sweet lord, the unmasked Berserker looks cool. Seems like the factory paint was improved a bit, which is good. Still simple, but at least there aren't any polka dots. Pic is from NECA's Twitter page.

Neca to make a Dutch figure?! holy ****! gotta get that!!! wow! Surely if they can capture Arnolds likeness on their Terminator 2 T-800 figures they would be able to do a Dutch figure. The head sculpt for their T-800's are amazing...A Dutch would be a must have.

I had thought about making a custom Dutch from one of their Conan figures. Now I'll have to see what comes of this. I could only hope to see two different versions of this figure. A commando type and a mud caked version. Cross your fingers and maybe they'll get the rights.



Here's what I tweeted them this morning:

@NECA_TOYS Being cost effective. Couldn't you get a mud caked Dutch with bow and arrow from the Conan War Paint sculpt? Seems plausible.

They'd simply have to change out the boots, hands, and hair. Use the paint app to create the mud and add new accessories.

They have the licensing rights of the Arnold likeness for a Conan figure, but that cannot be used to make a Dutch figure.

They have to aquire the licence of an Arnold likeness for a Dutch figure seperately.

Even though the characters are played by the same person, the licensing rights for each distinct likeness are seperate.

Hardly a post goes by that you don't pop off at something I say. I'm not pissed. I just feel it’s getting to be a little much. What you're saying could be a possibility but it's not uncommon for toy companys to reuse sculpts time and time again. It's a well known fact to those who collect action figures. I made a suggestion to neca and posted here since it was on topic. If what you said were true I'm sure neca would have mentioned it when they replied to me. It would have been short and sweet about how they couldn't use the license:

@RiggsMcClane not really, his body is very different from film to film. if we get to do Dutch it will be all new 100%
