PREDATOR/PREDATOR 2 Action Figures from NECA

Still waiting on dog alien, still waiting on AvP, still waiting on more 1/4 scales, but it's cool because instead we're getting the blade fighter.  Imagine getting stabbed by that when some Predator crashes into you going 75 mph...probably feels the same as having to wait for stuff we want rather than Kenner remakes and the Blade Fighter itself.

Found Bad Blood at a specialty store, actually wanted Enforcer and Viper much more, but there was just Bad Blood. I really like him, although I wish he was painted like all the other predators with the translucent realistic paint apps. He's painted to match his comic colors.

The added armor bits and severed trophy heads are nice, different than all the other predators released so far.

Quality control wise he's perfect. Super tight joints, although the inner thigh netting is missing some paint apps, nothing that bothers me personally though.

Found Wave 12 at TRU. Picked up Viper and Enforcer and I love them. Not a fan of Bad Blood's comic color paint apps and thankfully these two are painted in a more realistic style. You can also put Viper's bio mask on Snake since they're the same mold.

Yea seen those at TRU myself the new Elder was nice .

But good as these are and they have faults far as action figures go .

Neca Pricing these at 19.99 is ridiculous if you ask me .

My TRU still has these at $16.99.

AvP is series 14 and 15, but Wolf won't be part of them since he'll require 100% new tooling not shared with them. Wolf is definitely before Machiko though since they said the movie versions get priority over her.

The dreadlock is a piece from the comics. Doesn't really go anywhere, just an artifact.

Finished off this series by picking up Elder 2.0. You know he's almost drastically different for a re-release. The paint apps are a ton darker and his gear is different all around to make them not replace each other. I'm going to keep both as brothers. Elder and Greyback.

I love the original for the bright grey skin tone and I gave him updated lower body articulation.

Hello, this question is about  older figures , but is something that really bothered me for a long time.
Some months ago I bought  Tracker, Berserker, and  Falconer at a comic book store.
I wanted to know if the ones I got were Bootlegs because they have some differences.
The ones I got had the blade at one side of the package instead of having it attached to the wrist of the predators ,also some and paint application was different.

the ones i got looked like this 

and this is the "normal" one.

 I used to work at Toys R Us and this was a big complaint. A ton of the Neca stuff we got had loose parts or paint app differences. Our Neca guy said the one you see online is almost like a prototype thrown in a box for picture purposes and that is why the paint varies. Also for those of you who shop at Toys R Us in Southern California most of our Neca stuff gets here two weeks late.

The AvP line looks like it's going to be really cool, can't wait to see more.  Hopefully each individual comes with a proper amount of gear/accessories.
