After a month, the child could walk and eat meat, and Dusk actually enjoyed his company. She thought he was pretty cute for a human. The baby was able to waddle around the ground of Dusk's living quarters. His meal's consisted of galaxy-wide choices of meat and flesh. He had taken a liking to Ti'Sheik, or Shreakers as they were known, meat, mostly rare. His dreads were at ear length by now and he was already a 3 feet tall. Many hunters believed Dusk was losing her touch raising the child, at hearing this she'd growl at them and they'd stop talking.
Other yautja mothers would be invited to the dwelling for the Ooman to meet Yautja his age. These accasions would have the children playing games like 'The Hunt' or 'Predator and Prey' while the mothers discussed how their children were growing and joke and discuss how their mates were doing. Not having a mate, Dusk would stay silent when the conversation took this turn.
"How is your Ooman, Dusk?" her neighbor, Brisk asked.
"He's fine and seems fond of your daughter!" she joked as the Ooman was chasing Brisk's daughter, making roar and growl sounds. He did get along with Lure. She didn't care that he looked different, she liked him and he thanked her for her acceptence. The other children didn't know better at this age, but they would. Someday.....
