Predator Hybrid Begins

For the gaps in the mandibles I simply hit those spots with gorilla glue and let dry. Since it expands a bit when drying it filled the void awesome! I then just painted over this area.

Permawet was done right after that. Took a pic in the daylight. Adding dreads tonight! Should have a finished head by tomorrow! WOOHOO!

Dreads are now installed. What can I do to get the dreads to be more vertically hanging and not sticking out a little bit? Should I put something on them to weight them down? Should I cut small slits on the inside of the dread where it bends? Or should I pull them out and install them a different way? I cut a + slit for each dread and slid them in very tight and gorilla glued. How do you all get them to be more vertical then this? I will not be happy until it is perfect!

Thanks for any tips guys! Next up is some dread rings, beads, and more!

They should settle down over time... also the dreads will weigh them down. I had the same problem with my mask. I tied them down for a week then the weight of the dread rings once painted weighed them down.

Here is a picture of my Pred 2 Bob Bagy mask. By the way I'm not by any means trying to distract from your thread just wanted to show some pictures on how I tamed the dreads.

Awesome thanks! It seems to be more for us who cut the dreads at the original movies lengths. The people who leave them long like in AVP seem to have an easier time. Thanks again gonna tie them down now.

Thanks guys. Right now I am just deciding what type of beads I will use. I will probably do a combo of some sort. Might even make my own.
