Predator helmet.....what do I have here?

Good evening all!

My brother recently gave me a Predator helmet as a gift. He told me he purchased it at a police auction, and it apparently was hung up on display at some drug dealers house. It's pretty heavy, definitely resin-based substrate.

So what do I have here? Anyone know the pedigree of the casting? Just curious.

You used to see these all over ebay, usually sold as 'Scar' bio helmets. It's just a cheap Chinese knock-off. I have one and can tell you it's not 1:1 scale, or even close to being accurate. I got mine for Ian Whyte to sign and payed something like $30.00 for it.

It's not one of the officially produced helmets, Icons, Sideshow or HCG so I guess it was just made by an artisan somewhere for themselves or part of a run for sale probably on eBay as mentioned by wonko.

I think it wants to be a P1, but has a wonky eye and that gap between the brow and top of the snout has a bridge in there that needs to come out. Then it needs a good repaint.
