I just got my hands on 3 AVP books. Prey, War, and hunters planet. I also got thr newest AVP comic from dark horse

Steve Perry is a great author. I really enjoyed his book "Earth Hive"
I might have to go and get these books as well.

I have the entire original Aliens triogy (Earth Hive, Nightmare Asylum, and The Female War). Brilliant books, and they are slightly based on the comics. They're truly the originals and the best.

I purchased the AVP ones as collected graphic novels, they have the first few comic books all bound together, made it a lot easier for me to collect them. We have a local store called the Comic Shop that carries them here. I still need to get the Alien books though I only started collecting them. I have the first two collected releases of AVP and then two more of Predator.

I have all three AVP books, several of the Predator books and several of the Aliens as well, along with the actual novels for Alien, Alien 3, and Alien Resurrection. Do yourself a favor and don't even waste your time with Hunter's Planet. It sucks balls from beginning to end and grade school kids could do a better job. The two Perry books are the only ones you need if you can get past the heavy feminine influence. Hunter's Planet is totally unnecessary and very poorly done. War is far better and has the capture of the alien queen better than Hunter's Planet. War continues the storyline that Prey started. I tossed Hunter's Planet and don't even think about it.
