Predator Bio Mask

Made freehand from posterboard, coated with fiberglass resin. The eyeholes are covered with screen and aren't as see-through in real life as in the photo--that's from the flash.

It's modeled sort of after the "Falconer" bio.

Here's a closeup of the "facehugger" dread beads:

The model was made by cutting out a facehugger shape from foamie and glueing it to a short piece of PVC pipe, then casting a bunch of them in resin.

It's one of three complete Pred costumes, and five bio masks, that I have.

You can see my complete Pred costumes in action (and also a Klingon and Imperial Scout Trooper) in my fan film "Predators: The Hunt", here:

What did you use for a template?

I am working on a foam Bio right now and have got something wrong with the cheeks and was hoping to find some form of template for foam.

I didn't use any template---just kept cutting pieces till they fit where I wanted them to go.
