Predator 1 Spaceship Model

I have been looking for info on this spaceship for years. Other than freeze frames from the movie, I have never found any. It's funny even now that with the internet we have gotten so many pics and hidden info surfaced. Other than the small micromachines ship there's absuletely nothing to be found.

I know the ship was made by Boss Films, the visual fx company that Richard Edlund created after Star Wars.

Do you have any extra info or clues that may help in this research?

Check the old avp war comics. There are scenes in and out of the ship

that is killer .  I have never seen a p-1 ship 

seen the pods but not the mother ship.  You should paint that up

Funny, I just started taking hd caps of the movie to add to the gallery at some point.  It's not the filming model but they're slightly better quality shots than what I've seen on google etc.  I particularly like the alligator skin on the underside.  Here they are:
