So not everyone browses the JY, so I was wondering if it was alright to start a thread in the appropriate topic showing a pic of what it is that is being sold (or looking to buy) and linking to the JY?

I've seen people try that once or twice and the mods usually move it to the junkyard.
You could always post a link in your signature about what you have for sale or what you want to buy.

Anything sales related should be in the JY. Posting an "ad" in the prop forums isn't allowed. Even the signature thing is kinda sketchy...
