This may belong in the Collectibles Forum, since this is not a build-up...

But was trying to find the black version of this car to match what was used in Bad Boys; couldn't find it in black, so bought the red with thoughts of painting it.

Then...

I fell in love with the red car.

Then...

I found the model in black after all.

Love this body style on the 911.

Interesting...

The offset of the rear wheels is noticeably deeper on the model, and the model has turn signal indicator lamps in the fenders, not present on the actual car.

As I recall, the side markers were a requirement on the EU models, but not installed on the US imports. You'd think they'd just install them on all models. Made me think of the original Countach, the US spec models had to have those atrocious bumper additions to meet our safety standards.
