Poorly so made something - Diagona build

So been laid up last few days decided on a whim to build a diagona - progress since far - the latex was just a test to ensure it would look organic...

I will be using a ‘muddy’ resin for the water in the bits and pieces...
 
Did a little more - still a long way to go, another layer of latex and a test wash with varnish (just on eyelid) which I will be building up once he’s painted (I may add more latex yet). Played with some hair but have decided to punch it in properly.

Base had an undercoat of sorts but I still need to find more stuff to add, then a dirty rusty paint job - I will be filling it with a dark resin pour to replicate murky water and then should be done - pesky work getting in the way at the moment ha ha...

Y'know, the turd-like appearance of the Dianoga... like a dookie with an eye... always made me think this is the sort of monster that could live not only in a garbage compactor but also in a sewer system. It would be fun to make a version that can float around in a lake and scare people ;)
