depending on what tools you have access to, there are several ways,
if you have an actual polishing wheel and polishing compound, then, that is probably the best way, although, be carefull when polishing the angles, there was a whole batch of Tomen that came with rounded out corners and this was probably because someone was overconfident on the polishing wheel.
if you don't have special tools, you can use a polishing compound like Mother Mag or something like this, apply a bit on a cloth, rub the grips thoroughly with it, then take a clean rag and rub the grips again until there is no polishing paste left and the grips are shiny.
the best for transparency is to polish both faces
