Well let's see... Klingon D-7 is 288 meters in length, which is 8,976.38 inches, or 8.97638 inches at 1/1000 scale.

Mine measures out to 10 inches exactly. If you want I will take pics next to a ruler and the PL 1701.

One of the neatest features of this kit that I haven't seen mentioned anywhere is that it has a shuttle hangar molded in, as well as a decal for the hangar floor!
