I thought I would show some early pictures of my J2. It's almost done. I have to fiish up the interior lighting, paint the crew figures and finish the last landing leg. Some of the mods I have done to the kit are- replaced the moulded couch with resin seats, control panels are all back lit panels, the red beach ball navi-globe was replaced with a scratchbuilt alcove. The globe itslef is a bead on a push pin. The steps on the legs were cut out and replaced with thinner sheet plastic steps. And a bunch of other stuff. There are big plans for the model in the near future! Enjoy.
