Polar Lights 1/1000 scale Enterprise

I'm thinking of getting three Polar Lights 1/1000 scale Enterprise kits and building one of each of the 3 versions to be built, the 2 pilots and one TV version.

I think it would make a great display to go along with my MR Enterprise.

Has anyone here built any of these versions? I would love to see them.

Hi Lynn,

I didn't finish my Enterprise, but I did attempt a Constellation. The weathering came out crummy, but with all the trouble this build gave me, I just wanted it over.

Here are some pictures (with some other kits mixed in there):

and some "on the bench" shots. The problems i had were the bad decal placement, and the bad future job. Luckily I was able to fix those for the most part. The weathering was just a bad day where I should have left it alone:

I haven't made the 1/1000 1701, but I did make the 1/1000 NX-01.

It was my first kit build, so there are some things I could have done better. I just got started on the 1/350 version.

12Rogues, that Constellation looks great. What did you use to get the rusted look?
