Please help Identify These Parts!

Hello, everyone.

I'm hoping some of you can help me out. I recently got a casting of the Borg Queen Skull and Spine from Star Trek: First Contact. Technically speaking, it's a studio scale model of her skull. I'm posting here because of all the wonderful work I've seen people do here identifiying kit parts. I've been looking for one of these for years. Unfortunately, there are a lot of flaws in the casting. I'm hoping to replace some of the poorly cast sections with the actual kit parts that were used on the original. If anyone can help me out with which parts are from what kit, please let me know. Thanks to Wackychimp for hosting.

That boxy thing looks like two of the Gundam shields that were used on the "Picard's ready room" version of the Stargazer. The shields would be the angled parts on either side, with filler between (they are not normally that wide).

I suspect there aren't many model kit parts in the greeblies, though.

The barrel detail looks like a car batterty terminal cleaner... the crosshatched grip on the end or its a 1/4" air hose quick release fitting.

All lot of the little round domes with a round rings around them look like LEDs with their bezels on them. Which would make sense since IIRC the borg queen skeleton, had lights in it...

Thanks. I thought it might be a Gundam but I wasn't sure. :) Would you know which Gundam kit it came from by chance?

I think you're right about the quick release fitting, Steve. I'm going to check the parts store in town. (I'll probably get some funny looks walking in with this thing though. :confused :lol

Jedi Dade, I hadn't thought of that. They might be LED bezels. :thumbsup

Thanks everyone. :) Any more pieces look familiar? I swear I thought some parts looked like transmissions or tank wheels or something. :unsure Does anybody have a clue what the detail on the back of the head is based on?

Just looked at a picture of the shield parts for the Stargazer (ARII 1/100 Macross Battroid, it turns out, not Gundam), and they don't seem to match after all.

Still looks like an anime mech shield, though.

I think that is from a macross Battroid. A super strike Battroid/valkyrie. Part of the leg armor it looks like. Hasegawa has made new kits of this models but I don't think any of them were relesed before First Contact so I would go ahead and look for the Arii/Nichimo Macross kits.
