Please donate pictures- Spider-man Ollie face shell for 3-D printing

Hey all,

I'm going to bite the bullet and although it will be costly to get this completed, I feel it will definitely be worth it. I have the basic pictures of what the shell looks like, but can anyone donate any more obscure pictures? Or even better, some measurements? Hopefully someone is out there that is in possession of one that is generous enough to share. I will keep everyone updated!

So you want to take an item that someone else made and then create exact copies for your (and possibly other's) use? Do you have permission from Ollie to copy his work? I would think this falls under the recasting heading and is not the sort of thing that is appreciated at the RPF.

If your talking about Ollie Von der heydt his shells were actually attatched to the mask, I have one but I'm not so sure if this falls under re casting or not.... Kinda feels like it though

Oh, I totally understand about recasting. No no, this is not what I am going for. I should have made this more clear. Forgive me for presenting myself in that way. I merely like the shape of his. Its wider on top and tapers in towards the jaw-line. It is no more a recasting than going by pics of the original face shell. There are many things I didn't like about his too and wouldn't want to recreate. I wanted to have a shape somewhere between the O.G face shell and Ollie's slanting shape. Everyone brings something unique to their own prop. Taking some influences by many and creating something different is what the interpretation of art is all about.
