Plaster repair help!

Ok, need a bit of help. So a friend of mine worked on the set of Avengers End Game and sent me a pair of plaques from the Asgard scene (I’ll add a photo below). Both in fine shape, but one suffered a little damage during the trip. Looks like some plaster chipped off while in transit. I found the chipped off pieces in the box and they fit perfectly into the spots they came from. So my question is, what is the best/easiest adhesive to use for a repair job?

I had some good results using wood glue. The plaster need to be wet (I don't know if you want to do so with this piece). The best would be to put the whole thing into clean water until no air bubbles come out of the piece. the chipped pieces need to be wet to. Then add some thinned wood glue into the spots and put the chipped pieces back. Maybe yo can practice with some other plaster pieces first.
