This prop is basically the trophy of the entire TV show because not only does it hold the hope of getting back home (Flight Record) but it also begins and ends the series.
It's also the only futuristic prop that makes more than one appearance throughout the show.

The price is $50 per disk, plus $8 for domestic shipping.

The disk comes pre-painted, so it's ready for display!

Update (as of 4/28/24): This time around, I will be using new screen captures from Episode 2 that has some different views of the original disk to add the oddly placed holes near the center. Also, the center area will be widened slightly, and the bottom section will be thickened.

Here's progress photo of the prototype. I just finished polishing it:


I still need to cut it off, trim/polish the other end and drill the three holes.

The price at this point is hovering around $45.

IMO it looks like there are just three holes, with the flat center painted black, and the paint has been worn away.

I don't recall if we ever see the other side.

I finished the prototype today.

The price is going to be $50 plus shipping. $5 should cover domestic shipping via USPS.

I won't be painting these, but it's a simple paint job with flat black paint.

I forgot to mention that if anyone hasn't seen the TV show, it's still playing on METV very early on Sunday mornings.

If you're too lazy - like me - to get up at 4am to watch it, the DVD box set is available and I think episode 2 (The Gladiators) is still on You Tube if you're only interested in checking out a few shots of the Data Disk near the beginning of the show.

Just finished the last disk. I'll be putting the finishing touches on these early next week and shipping them out by Saturday or earlier.

I have some good news: Painting the disks turned out to be easier than I had expected (with a little help from a lathe and an x-acto knife), so I will be painting all of the disks this week.

Once every thing is completely dry, I'll get these shipped.
