Place to buy fiber optic cable in L.A.?

Do any members in the Los Angeles area know of any place where I can buy small quantities of fiber optic cable? I prefer not to have to order it online.

See if you can find those lamps with fiber optic. Might find them in lamp stores.

Both Allied Model Trains (in Culver City) and The Whistle Stop (in Pasadena) have carried small portions for train applications. I would call first. Also, try Kit Kraft (Studio City) and see if they have any in stock. (Plastruct makes a couple of different sets and they may carry it.)

I've seen some in the floral section at Michaels.
has a light box with about 50 strands that can be placed in a vase.

Strands are about 12" long.

I picked up a couple night lights with fibers that where on clearance at Target a few months ago gut those are hair thin fibers.
