Interest Pirates of the Carribean: New run of Aztec Gold Coins (24k gold plated metal coins)

Since there were some people requesting if another run would happen, I said that if someone could send me the base coins, I could look into this. ColdVizjerei could send over 24 coins. So now I'd like to see if there is anough interest to have them all plated. Info and pictures about the last run can be found here:

Since I wasn't happy with the lack of detail in the Master Replica's version of the Aztec Gold Coin Medallion, I wanted to make my own, more accurate gold coins. I used the metal coins that were included as checker pieces in a licensed Pirates game as base. First I drilled a hole in the coins...

In the meanwhile I contacted my goldplater for current prices. I hope I can offer them at the same price as the previous run, and this was €70, shipping not included, but I'll let it know when I have news from him...

For me it's only interesting to do a run when I have more than 15 people interested (not taking into account the free coins ColdVizjerei will get). So once we are at 17 and I have confirmation of my goldplater, the run is a go.

Decided to have a few for myself too. I'd like to try giving one a darkbrown wash to make it more screen accurate. If the run goes through and I have the coins in hand, I'll try it on one of my coins and post pictures here. If people like the result, I can give their coint the same treatment. Since I think this won't be too much work, I can offer that as a free service for those who want it.

With 4 more people interested I'll call it a go. Just need to hear back from my goldplater...

Change my order to two coins instead of one. Maybe I will decide to have one in original gold and the other in dark brown lol.

As for the brown wash. Here is a screencap (left) with one of my coins (right). As you can see it's very shiny and clean compared to the screen used one. So I hope with a brown wash to have it more look like the left one (for those who want it, off course).
