it was a great time had by all here in newfoundland canada , we posed for pics with fans ..... i have a fiberglass sandtroper helmet and the rest is a F/X suit yes thats a crushmans mg34 i am holding, but i have my hyperfirm coming soon..........darth kahnt and i had a ball

Yes, we indeed did have a great time.

I need to note a couple of things here about my costume:

1. I am wearing my Rubies lid as my GH was not ready at that time and I sold all my other fiberglass lids.

2. The chestbox is riding low because I have to tweak the mounting system. I had to keep pushing it up all day.

3. Those are not my good capes, they are my Rubies capes because my custom capes are still not done.

Great pictures guys. The costumes look really good.. :thumbsup From what I hear, you were clearly the highlight of the event. Remember too, people don't look at you and say "oh look, a Rubies component", they see a great looking Vader and Trooper and it makes their day.

In addition to stealing the show, are you the two guys who were reported stealing a bag of potato chips and some cokes after the show? :lol

Seriously though, you're right in saying that people don't see the components. People are blown away by it. That's just me being me and bring picky and pointing out the obvious before someone else here does.

Hey - The jedi with the glasses looks very much like a guy I chatted with a few days ago at the post office when I was picking up a broken MR Vader saber that I bought to make into a belt prop for my Vader. Apparently there are lots of major Star Wars fans in town. :thumbsup
