pics of DL44

I've done a search on the forum and when you search on here for pictures of Han's blaster. all I've found are pics of peoples prop version.

not the actual original prop pistols.

does anyone have any pictures of the actual ANH, ESB, ROTJ prop guns? I'm just about to start painting my blaster and I want to paint it to match the prop, not just randomly weather the thing.

if someone could mail me pics or a web URL I'd appreciate it.

that's cool. a few pictures i've not seen before.

very varied levels of weathering there. I think I'm going to h ave to go for an amalgam of weathering here.

I think the main thing to come out of these photos is that I'm going to have to go for logic over accuracy.

some of these blasters are too clean really. This is a used weapon, in a fast draw holster which means wear on the front mag area. the greeblies, the sight which is outside the holster and therefore likely to get banged around. a bit around the trigger and trigger gaurd, and less weather as you go back.
