A new picture showing side by side clips.
My prototype is missing about 1mm on the bottom, but I made mistake while cutting and the final product will have the right size.

My new paint booth is up and running, so I figured I would offer a painting service on these. I was part of the first run, and absolutely loved working on mine. I used automotive engine enamels and baked them on for extra durability. Send me a message if you would like me to do the finishing work on your saber.

I'll be requesting the clip payments in about 1.5 weeks, These will be starting machining then, wel ahead of the sabers to ensure there is no delays.

Here are the first machined prototype photos of the clip.

The bar piece will also anodized in the final. There are some very minor mods still to be done on the clip.

If you have signed up for a saber you get the saber side included in the price already. IF you want the full setup so you can attach the saber to your belt you simply need to let me know and I will add it to your setup for the small upcharge.

Anyone who has already requested the clip as a part of the run wil be getting the payment request this coming weekend. The machinist will start on them and they wil be in hand shortly after. I can ship this separately if you want or with your saber. Default is with the saber.

I guess i am a late bloomer. Didn't know therpf is the one forum for Knights of Ren enthusiasts. Just found this thread too. Managed to join in Derrick's run at injury time. Sent deposit too. Decided to get the clip as well as i want it to be as issueless as possible. Also did me some reading on previous posts. If i may Derrick, can you forward me any previous e-mails that i've missed? Glad to be in this run. Can't wait

The RPF is the place for anyone making replicas props opcorn You can't go wrong being here.

Got the red and blue wires and all screws waiting.

The final prototype has been sent to Sanotized for painting and might be done this week. After this it will head to Saberproject for chassis design and install.

Packaging and things will be sorted out closer to the shipment date.

Moving right along in other words!

Are the rest of you able to see the pictures in the emails? I seem to not be able to get them to work. I have tried on my phone and computer. My friend was saying it might be how the images are hosted via google drive and that the links have become broken.
