I'm sure all of you remember the scene when Banning proved to the lost boys that he truly was PeterPan in his childhood, Rufio relinquished the gold pan sword to Peter. This prop took me o lot of time of work with an accurate reserch of materials to make it. The blade is handmade of solid brass, shined ti appear gold like and then protected with a layer of clear coat. The handle has been sculpted by me and then casted in solid resin. As you can see, it is painted and weathered to resemble a coconut. The handle is striped with leathrette, this is a great collector piece and a must to have for Hook's fans
The sword measures 69 cm in length

This is a really cool prop! Don't worry if people give you no interest....it happens to me too with a phantom tomenosuke customization... It seems that collectors have their tongue cut.they could say: I like it, I don' t like it, you can make it better, but this silence is unbelievable.
BRAVO!!!!!!!! Please put me in the list.

Would you mind sharing some more pics? It may just because I’m on mobile, but it’s hard to really get a feel for what the blade looks like.

Thanks!

The blade of the screenused sword looks more wide in my opinion. And is there a collar on the sword, because on some swords there is one...?

Hi onkelpsycho, I made the sword basing it on a screen used one sold on propstore. Naturally I saw the movie's scenes, too. You also have to know that there is also a sword with a retractable blade (when it is pushed against a person, the blade retracts) ; so I saw all existing swords and I finally made one that could resume a certain truthfulness. About the width of the blade, as captainEO said (he own 2 original swords), this is a very good replica so probably you did a mistake on the measures..? We can all have different opinions and probably we would have to have a sword in our hands but I tried to do my best.

No offense here.

The first pics look great. But on the latest pics the blade looks different... in the propstore picture the blade is as wide as the top of the coconut shell. In the other pic not. But maybe the final result looks awesome...

Just curious: is there a minimum of people with interest needed?

Is this made to order or is there a time frame, when the project starts?
