Peter Flarkin' Quill ( Star Lord)

I think I had those exact same half-chaps once! Sadly, I don't have them any more. Mine would have looked nice and beat up, since I wore them to ride in for years. But they would have smelled like a barn, lol. Coffee might be a better fragrance to have when you're wearing them to a con! ;)

Yeah, I lucked out and the chaps were new. It does mean I have to beat them up a bit though. I think I'll take a pool noodle, and wrap them around it and then drag it behind my jeep for a bit. I'm going for the weathered space pirate type of look.

My family (read: not me) has been involved in horses in the Arabian world forever, and I'm quite familiar with the smells involved. lol I think coffee is the right way to go. lol

Jealous! I haven't ridden in years, and I miss it. Maybe when my shoulder isn't so messed up, lol.

So As can be seen, I cut the helmet. It took a bit of courage to do so, considering the kit is so beautiful to start. I really wanted it to fit tighter though, because that's part of the look for me. With a little trimming I have the helmet set up where the rear fits into the main mask and all I miss is a bit of side detail. Today I'm off to get some rare earth magnets to start getting it back together.

Yesterday I took a bit of a break from the helmet and puttered around the house, but I did manage to get some small detail's rub n' buffed for the helmet.

Thanks everyone. I was happy with it too, but think it may be just a touch big on me. I'll have to put more time in at the gym I guess.

I love your phone case!

Also, the fit looks great. :)

Haha. I have a crazy thing about octopus'. I even have a tattoo of one.

What size jacket is that..what size chest do you have

The jacket is an XL and I have a 44.5' chest. I went up in size because I didn't want to be too tight in a smaller jacket. The length seems right and the sleeves are fine in length. I'm 5'6" in height 200 lbs if that help to sort your sizing.

Cephalopods are amazing! I love them all. I don't have a tattoo of one (yet?) though. I do have a couple of dragon tattos, a maple leaf, and a crow. And plans to get more, lol.

It is somewhat addicting. My first tattoo ended up being 17 hrs, and takes up much of my arm, chest, back, and shoulder.

Oh wow, I haven't done any that big! Mine are all rather small. I do want something nerdy next, though I'm having a hard time deciding on just ONE thing, lol!

A shot right after the last session and copied from my Tattooists instagram. I haven't decided if I want to expand on it concept wise (mermaid maybe), or just some under shading and move to the next. I have my next sitting set for this Friday.

Oh wow, gorgeous! I love the colours. Really beautiful work. :) Now I kind of want a big arm/shoulder tattoo, lol!
