Pepsi is making Pepsi Perfect? BTTF

I just find it funny that they're not just slightly increasing the number they're manufacturing to accommodate the people they're now canceling. It's a Pre-Order! Pepsi, you can just run your machines for a few more minutes and everyone will be that much happier for it.

This is BS - if Amazon ships to your code, that's all that should matter.

I smell class action lawsuit if they are cancelling orders like this. Very bad news on Amazon's part because I really doubt they had anything in writing ahead of time saying you couldn't order from the second offering if you ordered from the first one. Unbelievable.

Exactly.... what a mess :facepalm

I have a friend who works for Amazon customer service, and she explained that they are trying to crack down on people who have ordered more than one Pepsi Perfect for each account, and also for those who have ordered from multiple accounts with the same name and shipping address. This is a manual process, so some people who ordered on both dates or from multiple accounts may be overlooked if they're lucky. Everyone's situation will be different.

It states directly on the product page that the limit is 1 PER CUSTOMER, not 1 per household/address.

If this mess is not cleared up and honored by Amazon (as far as cancelling orders to the same address) I think a class action is a great idea.

I'm still waiting to hear back from the manager whom I spoke with last night and agreed they cancelled my order in error.

When I was a kid I LOVED!! Crystal clear Pepsi!!... I always wondered if I tried it again now as an adult if I would still love it or take a sip and ask myself what was I thinking?... LOL

I too loved Crystal Pepsi. Unfortunately I and alloccosol were in the minority. Sales declined heavily. In order to try and save it, they added a slight orange flavor to it... which ruined it completely for me. Blech! I pray this rerelease is not the citrus flavored version.

Sorry to hear about those of you having your orders canceled or those that couldn't complete the order because of U.S. zip code restrictions. That's complete B.S. Amazon and Pepsi need to get their heads out of their asses.

I believe regarding cancellation for multiple accounts, it has to be same name and address, which would mean it is the same person/customer. So, if different name but same address, should be OK based on what I was told.

That's my case. My wife and I both ordered 1 bottle each. Different names, different cards, different Amazon accounts, but same address. And mine still got cancelled.

Yeah, that's not right. I'm sorry they did that to you. If they are manually canceling the orders, maybe they canceled by mistake and didn't realize the different names. I hope they make it right for you :(

so i guess now the big question is what is going to happen to those bottles that got cancelled, will they throw them back up for sale or will they disappear out the back door

I get you're frustrated and it sucks, and I hope they can reinstate your order, but if they don't....come on...a lawsuit? Over $20.15 that you were given back? So in essence you're gonna sue because you were deprived a plastic bottle of Pepsi? I think that might be a tough case to not have immediately thrown out by a court.

It does sound pretty ridiculous when you put it like that. lol

I said if it happens to a lot of people it could lead to a class-action due to false advertising on their product page. Red Bull has a class-action against them because they claimed "It gives you wings" when it, indeed, does not give you wings. I couldn't care less how insignificant the cost or that it's a plastic bottle. It's the principal.

I truly believe it was a mistake by a human going through orders and manually canceling what they thought were multiple orders by the same customer. Why this isn't an automated computer program doing this is besides me, but I do hope they correct their mistakes.
