as much as i hate hearing people say "use the search!" this would benefit you since your questions are so specific and might have been answered in that thread.

1. I use tweezers to put in the last edge for gluing and holding it there
2. I personally use 3M Fiberglass Resin on the outside, Fiberglass Mat or Cloth depending on the project on the inside, and then I use Rondo on the outside since it's easier to sand over regular bondo, rondo is generally a 50/50 mix of bondo and resin.
