I'm trying to make some pep armor and this is my first time. Not necessarily for my pred but I may reuse some parts later on. Anyway, I'm pretty much winging it because there are absolutely no pep files for anything even remotely similar to what I need and I've got a heck of a lot more complex curvature going on than most stuff I've seen.
I spent a good chunk of yesterday gluing the paper around my shoes and for the most part, the paper shaping is turning out pretty well. But, it occured to me that resin gets hot, doesn't it? If I'm using hot glue, wouldn't it fall apart or deform or something? Do I need to back it with some other non-heat sensitive adhesive or something? If so, can anyone recommend products for me to use? I figure I'd ask someone who has done this before risking an entire evening of cutting and gluing hell.
