Paul Darrow (Blake's 7 and Dr Who actor) has died aged 78.

Paul Darrow known for playing Avon in Blake's 7 has died at the age of 78.

R.I.P. Mr Darrow. Now we know what happened to Kerr Avon at the end.

Would have love to have met him. A seriously gifted actor who found his perfect role. I was hoping he would be around for any resurrection of the series. What a loss. RIP

Really saddened by this news. Unfortunately his health had declined in the past few years. I got to meet him back in the late 80's and he was a class act all the way.

Damn, this one hits hard.
My (late) brother, and by extension, my soon to be born son, were named what they were (Indirectly) because of him.
(Mom had a crush on him when we all watched Blake's 7.. Dad wasn't going to name his kid Kerr or Avon and we already had a Paul in the family so he earned the name "Blake"[Middle for my brother, first for my son])
