Hi everyone,

Currently, I'm finding some part as the attached 2 pics.
Can you give some information?
Especially, where was headlight part from?

thanks Eric.

This might not help much, but I think that I read the headlight part was an odd type of heat sink. I've looked at all of the studio scale websites I know and can't confirm that information though! It's just a memory, and I can't remember where I saw the info.

Part ID help for Sandcrawler

I'm trying to ID for the remained unknown parts on Sandcrawler...

Please help me, if you have any idea for these parts? :confused
Although most parts are IDed, 1 or 2 mystery part always give me a pain...:cry

thanks Eric.

Just thinking that the last pic of the drivers cabin roof,. maybe could it be the deck of an aircraft carrier...? the underside girder structure perhaps ?

Dunno if that helps or not, hope it does...

Cheers

The part pointed to on the left of 035.jpg looks like it could be a gun tube of an M48/M60/M60a1 tank. That's the first thing that popped into my head when I saw that ribbed section of it.

Hey Scott,

Yes. it is very similar to the gun tube but is also too small...:cry

thanks Eric.

Those little silver caps in the first couple pics, i think they are small transistors. They look like the size of 2n2222's. Here is a pic of one next to Sherman tracks so you can gauge size. It's hard for me to tell by those pics because of camera placement.

Thank you for your sharing:)
Can you tell me where you get the transistor? or any kit?

thanks Eric.

Eric, how many are there on the crawler? I see 3 in the access panel and 4 on the top.

Let me know. I can send you what you need.

Hey Zombie Killer,

Unfortunately, this part seems to be not from any transistor and looks like from kit part?:cry

Here is a better pic!!! Can someone give a tip for me?

thanks Eric.

I thought they were chrome/silver too, thats what led me to the trans. but in that last pic it just looks like silver paint.

Stop all the crying Eric..you've got 99.99 percent of it ID'd and have a sandcrawler. We won't deduct points if you have to scratch some details! :)

(But seriously, I'm spending too much time hunting for kit ID's myself. Not building enough. Not even getting started until I have all ID's and more photo reference that can choke a horse. It almost gets overwhelming sometimes. I just want to build for fun again...wah!!!!)
