Looks great! What did you use to weather your copper?

Thank you! Most of it is just from heat. Lots of sanding and buffing involved. Some of the reds were achieved by using a metal stain, though.

Is the claw a piece of steel welded to the copper? If I may ask, how did you go about attaching that? Mapp Gas? Oxy Acetylene? Also, what did you do to form the fingers out?

The blades were soldered on using a propane torch and acid core solder. The finger stalls are made of copper pipe, so it was basically a lot of flattening and bending with an assortment of pliers.
