Painting Rubbermaid

Ok,

I need to know something rather quick. I have a blaster that has 2 major flat panels that are made from rubbermaid sheets cut from a garbage can. I tried shooting it with a Krylon flat black paint and it scratched off very easily.

My question is, if I shoot it first with that Krylon Fusion grey paint as a primer, then shoot it with the flat black, will it stick?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Wash in hot soapy water, sand with light grit sand paper, prime paint enjoy. Done this plastic with Ghostbuster equipment, so been there. Good Luck.

If you use the Krylon FUSION on anything let it cure for at least a week before you paint over it. Even though Krylon is making better colors in the FUSION line-up, I'd personally stick with "regular" spray paint.

You're welcome sir, and ditto to the Tooth.
I do steer clear of that krylon in any form. It is just too thick. Great for lawn chairs, bad for props.
