Painting Robocop

Just checked up on this on ebay to see how it was doing, and was shocked at the lack of bids.
I certainly don't have the money for something like this, but I think at the price you've put it, it's a real bargain.

Got a couple of questions for you though:
How well would it fit if it was modified?
Would you sell it unpainted, without the chin or cables for cheaper?
Got any imperfect casts that you wanna shift for a bit less than the auction price? :love

Schminke acrylic inks have some flip flop interference colors.Silver/blue,silver/green.I'd have to look on the web page again, its been a while, but they make really great artist inks&paints.

Thanks for the kind words guys, and thanks for the help with the paint ideas. Sorry Lexesbeanz but the moulds have deteriorated so cant get any decent castings anymore.

Cheers

I have some Argonauts and Horizon Robocop kits if that interestes you? The Argo kits were/are super expensive though.

Really impressive sculpt. I was going to recommend looking into automotive paint lines, you'd definitely get your flip tones there, but it looks like you got great results on the metallic finish already. Well done.

is the finished statue in 3 pieces bonded together ?

Did you sculpt everything as one and then cut it into 3 pieces ? (jaw, mouth, helmet)

BTW It looks cool but I really like the Robocop 2 color.
I'm planning on painting my car so that it gets silver/blue/violet/greenish effect.

Hi Hay

Yeah it was sculpted in three parts, or more accurately the jaw and helmet were sanded into shape and the mouth was sculpted with supersculpey.

Good luck with the car painting would be interested in seeing pics when you finish it!
