Hi all
Trying to paint my Nike soles for my Batman 89 boot build, thought I had it with leather paint
they looked great only to find it scratched off really easy, anyone had better results?

Angelus makes a product called Walk-On Black, I'd give that a look, that's what it's supposed to be specifically designed for. I've never used it myself so I'd do a bit of research on how well it holds up.

I think he's speaking about the rubberized sole though. Yeah you absolutely have to use cotton balls/q-tips with acetone to strip the wax coating on it before you start applying paint, if it does stick, it'll eventually just crack if you don't remove that wax coating first.
