painted Vaders, EPI3 Clone and Iron Man helmets.

here i have some of my painted and reworked helmets i managed to upload some of the pictures i took a few weeks ago. i am pretty happy with how they all turned out. so here we go

first up my CT ROTJ Vader (my very first purchase on the RPF) painted with Duply color paints..

second would be my DP deluxe copy painted with Duply color paints

third my firs EPI3 clone trooper helmet from fleebay heavily reinforced with smoothcast roto added real mesh screens inside the aereators and painted with Crylon paints then weathered with metallic black and brown acrylic washes.

fourth would be my second favorite next to my CT Vader is TimEcon's IRONMAN Helmet.:cool it is based on a pepakura file then molded and cast in smoothcast 320 pretty solid cast. painted in Duply color paints i then added the detail in the eyes and leds to light them up.there is a very fine slit to look out the helmet when the lights are on. i have another helmet that i am working on i will post a short tutorial SOON on how to make the lenses with found plastics in the house and some LEDS.

thanks! i am pretty happy with all the paint jobs that Ive done. i really took my time finishing these guys up. and i have 2 more on the way.. for me it is just much more cheaper to get a fresh cast and finish off the surface and paint work by yourself you get to add your own personal touch.

i just hope to see more guys here post some more work in progress on there work.
