Finally.. Just finished with my 1:1 commissioned Old Ben bust this morning :D

I tried shooting these with my new camera and I still have a lot to learn about it... that's why I shot some outside, the indoor shots were just too dark to show off any details in the skin work.

Well... he WAS before howard decapatated him. :(

That wasnt very nice.

:lol

I've really been lookin forward to seein this painted up. As usual you did not disapoint. :D

Great likeness. You're right about the indoor pics. You do loose the detail more. Alec looks like he got a facelift. Took ten years off. :lol Outdoors where you can see the details it looks more like the Obi Wan we all know and love.

HOLY CRAP.... Great job on the hair also.... YOU'VE TAKEN YOUR FIRST STEP INTO A LARGER WORLD...

WOW. Incredible work Howard.

By the way, how did you acheive such a nice dull skin like finish with the paint? Dulling spray? Which product? Thanks.

Amazing job. The amount subtle detail in the natural-light-photos is incredible.

Thanks for the kind words guy ;)

Yes, I use Testors Dulcote. Really works well for that ;)

Wow - looks stunning. I think his hair should be grayer though so it isn't so contrasted against his skin.

The hair just photoed super contrasting... it's much more subtle in person.

Speaking of painting hair, my next piece will have real hair punched... man I hate painting and sculpting hair..

Bjorn, you really should stay away from the photoshop :lol
