So I have a pie e that has a ton of small crevices that I need to be white, I'm just wondering how to do a white wash into this pieces where I can wipe away the rest and leave the main finish the color it is, any help would be awesome, thanks!
Geez, do you even READ anyones post before trying to bump up your post count to be able to post in the Junkyard? :rolleyes
To actually address the original post, I would use some sort of white enamel based paint (such as Humbrol model paints) and thin it down with paint thinner. You can then paint it on with a paintbrush and it will run into just the crevices. You can do a similar thing with acrylics watered down with water, but enamels run better and are more prone to JUST going into the cracks.
Thanks very much for your guys help, really apreciate it, I'll let you know how it turns out. At first I thought you both were talking about me, I was like "what did I do?" then I noticed the post by that Luke guy, very strange. But thanks very much! I'm off to paint
yes as they said. washes are great to make people think you spent a ton of time when you really just let it run through the cracks. dry brushing and washes are great things to learn about.
