i actually just finished the Raleigh Becket white jaeger helmet and plan on doing a full suit soon enough. it took me about 3 days. i still want to add little yellow lights to it, like in the movie, and maybe make a better glass dome, i went with the battle damaged dome for money reasons. it's made of foam, used 3/4 inch thickness and 1 cm thick foam for the details. used my plastic boxes from my PR toys to make the the dome. it wasn't too bad the one part i had a hard time with was getting images of the back of the head, lots of side and front views but hardly any decent back photos. i think it looks good for a budget build it cost me nothing since it was made of scraps from a dredd helmet i was working on and stuff i had laying around the house.

Just watched this movie in 3D Imax. Absolutely stunning visuals, solid story to. Lots of comic relief.

How about pep files on the jaegers themselves? I'm looking into doing something like Mike Thorsson's Space Marines, painter's stilts and grabber hands, so that the proportions are fudged a bit less for things like Gypsy or Romeo Blue
