I just took the H2 Samaritan out of the box to display it know that I have some shelves up, and the thumb lever on the cylinder broke. It was just a piece of pot metal, and it must have been fatigued. Because it broke right off.

Any ideas on how to fix or replace?

Crazy glue works very well on Pot Metals. You can find someone to weld it but it is very very tricky.

I was afraid of that. CA would just be a bandaid, and most likely break again.

I was curious if this had happened to any others, and if a replacement part was obtained.

You might try a small bit of JB Weld. Just a tiny bead, push the two parts together firmly, then wipe up the excess before it hardens.

If you've got anything else around that needs to be glued, you might as well get it together for this too. No matter how little you mix, it'll probably still be far too much for a quick fix like this.

Any contact glue should work. You know, the kind that you thinly apply to both parts, let dry and then press firmly together.
